I feed my cats this. I don't think it's top of the line or anything, but it's certainly alot better than some other ones. Plus it fits my budget, and my cats really really like it.

The ingredients are fine but it would be better to feed canned food. If kibble must be fed because of cat preference, money issues, etc. then supplement with it or preferably a grain-free kibble.

My cats really like it, in fact they are struggling at the moment with Eagle Pack, I've learnt my lesson, back to Chicken Soup! A big bag of Orijen is now over 50$

Duttypaws, do you know what brands are available in Scotland? Is it possible to post the ingredients?

What about feeding just wet, no dry, like Rainbow suggested? Poppy appears to be on the overweight side of things based on pics in your other threads, which means she'd be better off not eating any dry at all.

I must confess that I never would have said that before reading all the excellent advice you have posted here.

because wet food costs a fortune... and she turns her nose upto it..
they are both overweight... lola is 13lbs 5 oz and poppy is 14 lb 9oz (i have been told this will go down as she no longer is sitting in a shelter as she was for 4 years and her extra nails which were a lot of pain and trouble has been removed) thing is they hardly eat i have a measuring cup from the vet and they only get a 1/4 each and eat a few mouthfulls.

Chicken-Soup has great ingredients,IMO,I had to special order it,it's hard to find here in any store.
However I now have my kitties on Wellness canned 3 times/day and the CSFPLS only as treats. My cats loved it when I used to free-feed on dry, they liked it more than anything else.

I have lots of tips for transitioning cats to wet food - had to use most of them myself to get my kibble-addict switched over, and it wasn't an overnight process. May take lots of patience and time, but it's worth it! Here's a link for you to check out: http://www.catinfo.org/#Transitionin...o_Canned_Food_ Quote:
Hill's is some of the worst food out there, sorry to say. Quote:
What about Eagle Pack? I noticed that one on the above website, and you can also get that here. It's has good quality ingredients (again, preferably canned).
