food for an 18 year old chihuaha
My 94 year old mother's service dog is an 18 year old chihuaha who will not eat any dog food anymore.
Any suggestions? |

First you should go see a vet. In my heart, I would say, at 18 years young, feed it what ever it's little heart wants. Good luck and give us updates and pictures.

18years? I agree with Shaykeija. If this doggie wants people food give I'd say it's well deserved. Not pasta, but an egg, some chicken, beef whatever.

I agree with others, but I would certainly see a vet ASAP. To encourage dogs to eat, I always buy those ready made greasy chickens - it always works even with the dogs that I get that are literally dying. The only ones that did not respond where parvo dogs.
