Sick 6.5 yr old dog

My dog recently was put on anti-inflammatories for a suspected fall, after being on them for a few days she began throwing up, the vet said to take her off the medication as throwing up was a side effect. she has been off them for a few days now, but is not eating at all and is drinking hardly anything and is shaking, she's weak and is lethargic. We are giving her maple syrup right now to keep her blood sugar up,but I need suggestions on what could be wrong and what to do . I cant get her to the vet right now, but am going to as soon as possible.

(she is a ****zu/poodle)

What could it be?
What would be some things to give her to coax her to eat?

Thank you

Amberr, shaking, weakness/lethargy are serious signs of illness. I'm so sorry but we are not vets here, no one can diagnose or treat your dog online. Is there not an emergency vet you can take her to? She needs to see one asap.

There isn't an emergency vet anywhere near by.
We can only get her in around Friday or Saturday.

but you can't wait that long ! This is serious , your dog needs to see a vet asap.

Where do you live ? Maybe we can help to find an emergency vet.

Do what ever it takes ! Your dog is your responsability. Right now she's suffering , this is inhumane to wait until the end of the week , what if she dies while waiting for you to take her to the vet ?

Ask your vet to arrange paiements , or put the bill on visa if you have one. Or borrow money from family , friends , anyone !!

Unfortunately our members are not vets and unable to address potentially serious health issues like this one. Time is critical - please contact a vet immediately. Good luck, we'll watch for an update on your pet's condition. In keeping with site policy, this thread will now be closed.
