Question First Time Flyer

Hello! Next month I will be moving across the country to Newfoundland and will be taking my 2 year old husky with me. I'll be flying WestJet and she will be checked as cargo. (it's about a 3 hour flight) I'm a little worried as I've never flown with a pet before. She has a bit of a separation issue also, are their any suggestions from anyone who has flown their dog on WestJet? Do they handle pets well? Is it better to give them something like gravol before check in? Any advice helps!
