They look kind of 'deer fly'-ish, chico...and I do mean 'ish'! If that's what they are, they bite.

chico, if they are like ours, they are teeny right? or if large (housefly size) then they are deer flies and do bite, the smaller ones that we have, I have no idea what they are. dirty piggies *L*

I don't think they are Deer-Flies,they look more like a butterfly,their wings are solid black,with white spots and when they sit somewhere,they have a triangular shape.

Yeah, I broke up a union like that this morning in Bonnie's and Cheshire's house. These little moths have been living in B&C's enclosure the whole summer. Lots of them. They are harmless. Have you tried FBing Bendy yet? She helped me a couple of weeks back with my ground burrowers.
