Travelling with Pet to Florida
I will soon be travelling to Florida via WestJet with my chihuahua Rocky. WestJet provided some very helpful information like the type of carrier they reccomend (Sherpa), and the fact that they don't require any documentation. They could not, however, provide any information regarding what I would need when I got to Florida. If anyone has any information or links to information regarding this subject it would be greatly appreciated.
Also, what about flea and tick control? Their weather is considerably warmer and I suspect their flea season is much longer. Should I start him on his flea/tick prevention early? From what I have read on the posts here and other forums it appears that WestJet is wonderful to fly with your pet. I know that any other time I have flown with them alone the experience has been fine. Thank you in advance. |
