dog anxiety
Hello, I am new to the forum and am searching for help for my 10 year old Llasa Apso. She is a great dog, but gets very anxious when storms appear with lightening or when fireworks go off ( as a holidays ). The really perplexing thing is that when storms appear and I am not at home, something strange happens. I come home to her and she has extremely wet ears, chest and top of head. It is soaking wet. I have put her water bowl up when I leave and have left no water anywhere for her to get into, but it still happens. I cannot figure out how in the world she gets so wet around her ears and face and top of the head, as well as down her chest.
Any ideas? Virgie 957 |

Is this only when there are storms or fireworks?..Does it happen any other time?
Could she be getting into the tub maybe? Just a question. You say you lift the water bowl when you leave..Are you saying she has no water to drink when you leave?
