Goodness - looks very much like the cat in this thread:

Probably not the same cat - but the resemblance.....

Stanley Alert!

He was last seen in Corso Italia neighborhood (St. Clair West./Lansdowne).
He is not microchipped and was not wearing his collar. He is an indoor cat so I am hoping this rain and his empty belly will start to wear on him and force him onto someone's porch.
Unfortunately, there seems to be an Orange Cat Conference in our neighborhood. We have had several sightings but they were other cats.
We are still optimistic.

I hope you find your little guy. A girl I used to work with lost her cat for about 2 months. She got the call about 2 weeks ago that he was in someone's yard. She had sightings within the 2 months, but everytime she got there he'd be gone. This time though, he was still in the yard. She said she called him and he ran to her.

He was pretty beat up though. Was obviously very dhydrated, but he lost 60% of his body weight she said. He as at the vets for a week.

Also once when I was working, I received a call from dispatch that a business had confined a stray cat. I get to the addrees, pick up the cat, bring it back to the shelter, check it for chip, cat is chipped, Owner had been missing her cat for a year. She was shocked that we were calling her.

found!!!

Mr. Stanley was returned home today!! A lady on my street said that 3 days ago he came up to her and was very friendly and hungry. She took him in and fed him, then saw my posters still posted. Stanley seems a little rough and smelly and very very thin, so my guess is he has been hiding out for a while and finally have to eat. thanks for all your good wishes

Wonderful news!! A trip to the vet to be checked out would be a great idea as well. Just to make sure everything is kosher. Is he going to be living indoors only now?
