How to raise the dead and other recycling tales...

This crafty thing is slightly creepy-but-cute. With so many of you out there with dismembered, disembowelled, be-headed and otherwise shredded stuffies and squeekies this http://www.apartmenttherapy.com/bost...oodgate-141686 project was not only RRR+ but could produce some very interesting projects.

Exactly! During the winter I used to hand sew pieces from fabric sample books making them into beds, coverlets, mats for a rescue in Toronto.

Wow, that would also make a super nice and warm cover for a wood kitchen chair.
I don't know if I would have the patience to sew all the little intricate pieces, but I guess that somewhat larger square blocks could be sewn into a quilt fashion.
What a good project for leftover materials, thanks for sharing.
