Question Skin shedding on 2 week old puppies normal?

Hey guys. I'm a first time dog owner and I need some help. I have two Siberian Husky/Golden Retreiver puppies that are only 16 days old. (The mom got hit by a car right after they were born.)

Anyways, both puppies have skin peeling off underneath on their bellies and on their hind legs. It's quite a bit. I don't know if this is normal in newborns or if there is something wrong and I'm getting kind of worried. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Also, the pads on their feet look like they have been bleeding. There is dried blood in the crevaces on the bottoms. Should I be concerned?

Thanks for any help or advice you could give.

Sounds like it's time to pack these two up for a trip to the vet ASAP

No - none of that is normal.

Honestly - if you really want those pups to have the best shot at life, you might want to consider looking for a rescue group that has a bitch with a nursing litter to take them. Having hand-reared a litter of puppies, I can tell you that it is difficult and time consuming at best. You won't be able to teach them any of the dog lessons they are going to need to have well-rounded temperaments and they may always have difficulties dealing with dog-dog relationships.

Not unless your puppies are part snake. I hope you'll bring to the vet right away. This not normal at all.
