Thank u for your reply. I post some pic here, seems that meds haven't worked so far. The vet visited my dog two days ago and gave Stomodine gel (clorexodine), next appointment is in 10 days to check and decide for the biopsy... recently it seems like there's a stings on the lip, you can see a round area from which sometimes some blood gets out... 🤔 plus I've noticed the planum nasal has lightened In the last period... and my dog has itch on her body...

Thanks for the pics, Flo. Maybe someone with more experience can chime in.

The lip lesion does look sore. It's worrisome that there seem to be more systemic symptoms, too. Does your dog normally have seasonal allergies or is the itching a totally new thing?

Please keep us posted on what the vet says.

I agree it looks sore and possibly a bite..but it's just a guess.
It might just stay at the same level till your next vet visit, but you're the main judge of everything we can't see or know from our end.

If you feel really concerned, or it's getting worse or really worse, of course always see a vet immediately or within 24 hours, that's my personal rule.
If you as the owner see your dog behaving weirdly in any way that too might be an indication of a problem. Hope that help in some small way and I hope nothing is too serious with your dog.

Tea acts normally, she eats and wants to go out normally. I agree it seems like a bite, but it's been 4 weeks now having this problem and it's very strange. (Could a bite or its effects last so much?). I've put clorexidine gel on her lip for 4 days 'till now.

I've also thought she has a spike or something else in her lips provoking this swelling, vet say nothing about this.

She suffered from dermatitis in the past, (because of flea bite I suppose) but I don't know now if it depends on food (hepatic) or something else. She has eaten hepatic food since a year now (I attach today's pic)

I continue to see a sort of blister on her lip, it breaks sometimes and there's just a little blood coming out, but it happens rarely. The sore and the swollen area are still there.
Next check is in a week.. I'll keep you updated

Hmmm...that's a very good thought. Certainly an abscess around a bit of grass awn or some sort of thorn could cause festering. We've not seen that in lips, but very similar things have happened on our dogs' paws. Definitely worth a mention to the vet when you go in.

Hello everyone, this is the situation today. Today I found a blood spot on the bed sheet over which Tea was sleeping, I realised that the blister she has on the lip broke, I got evidence taking these photos after the break and 10 minutes later (the blister re-filled up)... Tomorrow I'm going to call vet to take appointment. I googled something about blisters and cankers, so I suppose it's something related to that (in an optimistic way)... I'm really nervous and bothered by this...

Hello, just to update you. The vet visiting Tea said that it's probably a canker/sore and not to worry about it. We went for laser therapy on the sore and after 2 sessions it seems to be better. We'll continue with laser up to 5 sessions max and see how'll go, as a last resort we'll go for a biopsy if problem is not solved.

I don't suppose you've got another picture that shows your dog in the aggregate instead of just lippage...? Would love to see what the rest of Tea looks like--cuz her mouth and eyes look really cute!

Hello everybody Tea looks fine with her lip. Instead we found out dermatitis on her nose (very dry and has a yellowish crust). Any suggestions? That's Tea ♡

Great news about Tea's lip!!

Have you tried rubbing some plain (unscented) petroleum jelly on her nose? Our setters often got rough, dry, crusty nose leather as they aged and the petroleum jelly really helped!

Hello, I come back here. I use sometimes a natural.balm for her nose (coconut oil, olive oil etc).
These are some pictures of my dog's nose today....as usual I'm worried about it. Could be a food allergy? She scratches sometimes. She was tested for lehsmania and was negative.
I'll have A consultation with a vet, in the meantime any suggestions? Thank you ��

I've never seen anything quite like that. Almost looks fungal? Does she rub at her nose?

I don't really know. She rubs at her muzzle in general licking her pads, even at the eyes, but it seems there's not any fluid over her eyes.
Last visit vet thought it could be a food allergy and suggested me to change food brand. After that I've tried to avoid industrial food trying to prepare home made meals but I've been not so scrupulous sometimes. I'm waiting for a visit with a vet specialised in nutrition hoping this could help.
In the meantime I saw some similar images on the web and it turns out a possible parachetosis, I'll have to ask vet. I also read about lupus but she looks fine and very active. Thank you for your time, I add a pic of Tea

Oh, Tea is absolutely adorable! I've never heard of parachetosis--is it some sort of psoriasis? Wishing you all the best with Tea!
