Thank you all for your kind words. I miss her terribly and so does Jasper. He continues to howl for her at 4AM. She was so close to warming up to us, that I was going to attempt again to get her to come in the house this week. I loved her as my own:sad: .

I am so sorry. I'm at work and in tears after following this story for so long. I just knew that she was going to be apart of your family. How tragic and unfair. Misty

Thank you for your thoughts. I too thought she would become part of the family which is why I didn't force her to come in the house. I wanted her to be comfortable first, then come in on her own accord. Looking back I should have forced her in. I am still crying over her death. For what ever reason that fateful Saturday morning, she was way off her normal schedule. I keep wondering why she would attempt to cross a super busy hwy? She seemed to be so street smart and aware of her surroundings. |
