yes, my dobermans are getting more than the bag says. for 44-77lbs the bag says 2-1/4 to 3-1/4 cups per day. Kurn is 3 years old is 75 lbs and gets 3-1/4 cup, and Jasper is 2 years old is 65 lbs and gets 4 cups. Kurn has always been an 'easy-keeper' where as Jasper has had intestinal issues is the past (as a puppy), and will lose weight in a blink of an eye.
In the past, Kurn went from Chicken Soup for the Puppys Soul (very soft stools), to EVO puppy (good), to EVO Red Meat, to Orijen (perfect). Jasper went from the EVO puppy (very soft stool, weight issues), Hills Pescription Diet (at request of the vet for 2 weeks, dull coat, very watery stools then constipation, weight loss) tried EVO red meat (weight loss), and is now doing well on the Orijen. I would love to feed them something a bit less harsh on my wallet, but have not had any problems on the Orijen, so I dont want to jinx that with Jasper. They are also active dogs, so I guess this would attribute to the quanitites as well.
