Anyone tried the Red Meat Orijen?
Has anyone tried the new Red Meat Orijen formula they came out with last year?

We had tried it. It was a bit rich for Tommy, very similar to Evo RM.

I feed my guys raw. But I occasionally I pick up small bag of kibble for treats. My guys went nuts for Orijen Regional Red. I love the ingredients, and there was no tummy upset.
I think the regional red formula is one of the best kibbles on the market currently. |

I picked up a small bag to try... I also really liked the ingredient list, and have only heard positive reviews.
Plus, my one dog has allergies and this ration has no chicken or beef, so I am hoping he will do well on it. I currently do all raw, but if this feed works out and the dogs seem to do well on it, I might do 1/2 and 1/2. I love the raw and the results I have seen, but am finding that I am really being limited by the lack of freezer space I have. I am constantly having to turn down free meat from farmers etc. because I simply do not have the room for it. I am finding myself buying alot of raw at the pet store, which is expensive, but is conveinant as I can buy small quantities at a time. Have thought about purchasing a freezer, but again just don't have the room. The joys of living in a tiny house.

Try living in an apartment with 2 dogs (80lbs and 65lbs) and 4 cats who all eat raw. I bought a super small compact freezer - holds about 120lbs of meat, plus the freezer over the fridge. Between all the animals I'm going through 130 -150 lbs of meat a month and its still a billion times cheaper than all the kibble and canned food I went through.

Yeah, I'm pretty much limited to my freezer above my fridge so, its pretty tough, if I didn't need to eat then it wouldn't be a problem but unfortunately I do... darn it!
But yeah raw can be a billion times cheaper but you defaintly need the freezer space for it to be affordable. I tried giving the kids the Orijen Red Meat tonight, and they loved it so we'll stick with doing it 1/2 and 1/2 and see how it goes.

Let us know how you make out with it please and thank you. It hasn't made it our way yet but, I would definitely like to hear more first-hand experience.

So far they love it I have been giving it in the PM, raw in the AM. Sassy (my picky eater) used to snub kibble and would never eat it all at once if I put it down in front of her... well she loves this kibble!! I will keep you all posted!!
