Trouble switching foods

I went from Purina One to Canidae. Day one, I put two bowls down. One with 50/50 mix, one with just Canidae. She chose Canidae only.

She had a soft stool after, but not runny.

Today and yesterday she will not eat anything, and her choices are P1, 50/50 mix, and Canidae.

I mixed 1/2 cup of the mixed with a scoop of canned food to get her to get something in her tummy.

Was she eating the P1 before you decided to switch or is this food refusal entirely new?

I would put one bowl down only and, as long as there are no allergy/sensitivity issues to the P1, feed a 3/4 P1 to 1/4 Canidae mix. You can also heat up a little water and mix it in to bring out the aroma of the food. Gradually shift the mix forward until you are serving all Canidae. I would not use canned food to entice her otherwise she will come to expect it. Leave the food down for twenty-minutes, if she eats, she eats and if doesn't... and doesn't again the next day ~ she may just dislike the Canidae.

I read that that bacteria are created when you wet dry food, so I'd rather stir canned in if I have to do something to entice.

She never refused P1 before.

Im not sure about the bacteria thing, but how about trying some yogurt or pumpkin (not pie filling, real pumkin) to entice her to eat?
It will also help with the loose stool.
