Thanks for the input...
I just wanted to thank everyone who responded to my last post about Bing Crosby. I just got back from a consultation with my vet. I've decided to cherish the time I have with my old boy. The chemotherapy would be pretty rough on Bing and chances of this type of cancer going into remission are slim. I would rather Bing live as happy a life as possible than make him miserable for the time he has left. Thank you to all for the kind words, support and sympathy. I appreciate it very much.

I think that's a wonderful decision, Softpaws. Though your time left together is getting smaller, Bing will be more himself and not ill. Good luck and keep us posted and enjoy him as much as you can.

I'm glad you made this decision, and I know how hard it was for you. I had a cat with leukemia and had to do what was kindest for him too.
Give Bing a smooch from us! |

Softpaws,I am glad we could help and you made the right choice for Bing,I don't know if he is in pain,it's sometimes hard to tell in cats...but he'll let you know when he's ready to go

Your kitty is so fortunate to have someone so caring as you to lovingly help him through his last days. So hard for you, but so much easier for him. He knows you love him.
