Mom with new kittens....

We have an outside stray cat that decided to call our place home around May. Well we managed to tame her and she ended up having four kittens on July 25. Today when I went to feed her I noticed that something not right. Her vagina area is very swollen and there is some brownish yellow stuff all around it. It almost looks like poop but it's not coming from that area. Does anyone know what this might be? Like I said her vagina area is very prominent and it wasn't like that after she had her kittens. I don't know if she has an infection or what it could be. Any help would be appreciated.

Sounds like an infection. I'd get her to the vet pronto.
