Good books

Is anyone reading any good books, or read a good one in the past??

I'm reading "Born Naked", by Farley Mowat and it talks about his life growing up on the east coast. It is absolutely hilarious!!!!

I'm reading "Don't Shoot the Dog" by Karen Pryor. It's actually quite good.. It has brought a whole new perspective to dog training to me. I'm also half way through "The Ultimate Guide to Dog Training" by Mordecai Siegal and Matthew "Uncle Matty" Margolis. It's a pretty good book, very informative!

Thumbs up

I enjoyed this one.

The Day the World Came to Town: 9/11 in Gander, Newfoundland, authored by Jim Defede

It's really uplifting what the people in this small town did to help over 6000 passengers of the 38 jetliners forced to land when the US closed its airspace on 9/11.

When you work in a library, you can never catch up on your reading. An occupational hazard!

Thumbs up Good Book Recommendation

"Imperial Hubris" by annonymous-written by a current senior U.S. Intelligence Officer who has also authored "Through our Enemies' Eyes: Osama Bin Laden; Radical Islam and the future of America. Very interesting.

Oh girls/boys you are putting me to shame I love a good mystery,my favourite authors are Jonathan and Faye Kellerman.
However,I will also study my bird-books on a regular basis any time I see a"new"bird, read anything I can about wolves and other animals and of course I have an assortment of "cat-books",my favourite being Cat Stories by James Herriot a great cat-lover and veterinarian.
