Memorial Day Pics!

We were supposed to go to the dog park today with friends, but because of Petey's experience last night and his still throwing up some today, we stayed home and relaxed instead. Turned out to be a great day! Sat out in the backyard and enjoyed the sun most of the afternoon.

Here's Petey and Billy going exploring. And Petey showing off his slimmer physique. He's lost 4 pounds so far! Another 6 more to go!

My sister then brought over a little present for Petey. A swimming pool! Wasn't sure how he would like it so only filled it up a little ways. He was hesitant, LOL! Loves lakes and ponds, but hates baths. He seemed to warm up to it over time, so maybe filled all the way, it would be a bigger hit!

Here's Petey being coaxed in and then Petey mid-shake.

Billy wasn't so fond of the water. He went back to the safety of the doorway until Petey went over and gave him a kiss.

Then it was suppertime! We built a fire in my new little firepit and roasted hot dogs and then made smores. Then we enjoyed the fire as it got dark and cool.

Cool picture of roasting marshmellow. Billy then had to come out to join us as well. (Sorry for the bad quality, my camera gets grainy in the dark!)

And one final pic of Billy. (And this is me being brave posting a pic without make-up or my hair being done. LOL!)

Your fire-pit looks so inviting! Billy looks like a smudged marshmellow!

Petey is looking great. The pic of the roasting marshmallow is awesome and I love the one of Billy in the glow of the fire. And, the one of you holding Billy ..... you look darn good without makeup.
