Ruby detests crunchy treats (surprised she'll eat kibble the vet has her on really)..but treats , the chewier the better in her opinion.
She has nephrogenic (sp?) kidney diabetes and is on K/D diet. Tried getting some canned k/d and dehydrating it in oven to see if she'd eat that..>NO GO. So..does anyone have a kidney diabetes safe, soft treat recipie? Ruby thanks you very much. (low in sodium, phosphurus , and potassium is a must). I dont know the exact measurments of what she can have, waiting on vets response via email on that regard! |
