New dry food

Just to let you all know there is now a new dry food on the market in the UK, with over 16% this is a dramatic rise from pedigrees 4%. And it seems to be a success it is the 1st time i have saw Max eating dry food on his own for 9 years. This new food is called weignwrights(I think thats how you spell it) and is also good for dogs with allergies!

I think I'd give it a miss if I were in the UK. No prebiotics or probiotics; rice as the main ingredient (should be called "Rice and Turkey"); linseed (flax) should be ground, not whole.

sugar beet pulp also, that is what is left over after they get the sugar out and then sell to pet food industry.. at least the turkey is in meal for so that is without the watr content, if it was just turkey there would be hardly any meat in this food. and I would skip the barley myself.. Doesn't sound too much better than the average pet food, although there is no corn or wheat and that is good.

And beet pulp is stool hardner. The 'poultry oil' and 'poultry digest' alone would make me say no thanks to this food.
