I am going to put a carrier in there with food at the back.

He has a hidey tent/bed that he can hide in, but he prefers the bathtub

I was also thinking he is quite young too, maybe 9 months or so. His feet seem too big for his body, but maybe it is because he is so darn skinny .

In the one pic you took it looks like he is missing the botton of his foot but its just the way the photo is! you see the leg and nothing really at the bottom! The nose doesnt look bad it will heal in no time!

You are right! He is a boy and DH said he is not so skinny, great muscle mass. Not as skinny as Rose when I got her from cpietra, but poor Rose had kittens to support.

There are so many chipmunks around for him to eat, which is why I haven't seen him until recently when they started to hibernate.

Oooops...didn't realize there was a page 2. Definitely settled in quick...

He looks bigger in arms than he did skulking around on the floor

He has long legs, big feet and a small rib cage. Almost like a dog during it's teenage stage He is about 8-9 lbs.

How do we know he is a stray? From the above, it seems like he is not. I am thinking that he has a home, just sadly has irresponible owners, who let him out. And neighbours who feed him, making him stick around and eat the food left out.

Maybe someone is missing this cat? Or this cat is missing it's family. Habve you contacted the Humane Society?

He's s a cutie though. Thanks for bringing him inside.

I live in a small rural, heavily wooded subdivision surrounded by Parks Canada, St Lawrence River, Landon Bay, a campground and a golfcourse. I know everybody in my subdivision and this cat is not owned by anybody who lives within a 5 km radius. He has been seen by neighbours since June or July.

I am very involved with the local humane society and foster for them regularly. This kitty will be checked for a microchip, neutered, microchipped, tattoed, and given his full set of shots, then put up for adoption.

My Rose is a semi feral who was rescued by cpietra. She survived for 3 years on mice. Her muscle mass was the same as Panda's when I got her. It is the raw meat that gives them them the muscle. There are so many chipmunks around here, no problem for him to survive. But now that they have hibernated, he was getting hungry.

Panda Bear has been given revolution and purred the whole time DH thinks he is going to make a wonderful pet. He is very skinny but has a super thick coat.

One problem. He will only eat when I sit with him .

Jasper is not happy with him, not like having an intact female in the house. He loves his girls , but not so much the boys

Panda Bear is gorgeous . I'm so happy he's not ferral; it'll make it that much easier to find him a loving home. Thanks for helping the fella out L4H .

Thanks LP He LOVES humans and should be adopted quickly .

Panda Bear is settled in for the night. Now that he has been treated for fleas he has the run of the bedroom and bathroom ensuite. When I checked on him, he was comfortably looking out the window. Hope he wasn't wishing he was free

Panda Bear was in hiding and I couldn't find him this morning. DH will check on him when he gets up.

He was meowing for hours last night .

Here are some pics after his Revolution treatment last night. He is one big purr machine
After talking to him for about 5 minutes, he thought it was safe to sit up.

Guess who is on the other side of the door . Wonder if I should allow them to sniff nose to nose. I am afraid Jasper will spray inside the house. So far, so good, he has been spraying outside.

L4H, he is so cute! I'm so glad u caught him.

Willie sometimes needs me to pet him while he eats when he's not feeling well,,, or if he is feeling stressed. Maybe panda was worried about the cats on the other side of the door getting at him.

You could be right, Tundra_Queen. I allowed him to meet Jasper through a crack in the door and he is afraid of Uncle Jasper.

He is a supreme lap cat. After I settled down with Jasper, I had to spend some time with Panda Bear.

Some last shots of him:

I don't think he will have any problems, he is a human lover . If you are not using two hands to pat him, he lets you know to use both.

DH dropped him off at the HS, he just went into his litterbox and laid down

At least I know he is safe and won't be hungry or cold.

Once he is out of isolation (and neutered), he will have play time with the other kitties in the kitty room.
