All Aboard - 1hr to finish a 3/4lb bone-in chicken breast
I'm happy to say that we've taken the plunge!
Last night, I couldn't take it anymore, so I pulled two older pieces of boneless chicken breast from the freezer. They were gone fairly quickly, with some big gulps. However no vomit or diarrhea, yesterday or today ![]() To keep it going today i over spent but we had a big snow dump in Ontario and didn't want to be running around this morning, so I picked up 3lbs of bone-in chicken breast for $5, 4 pieces, roughly 3/4lbs each. Started the AM with an egg and shell, which he loves and finished in 2 mins. Picked up the chicken(which I don't plan on doing again very often @ $1.99/lb) and away we went. He looked, smelled and licked it for 20 mins. Then spent 40 mins chewing and ripping, never using a paw. So impressed! that even towards the end, he chewed and chewed and broke up bone from a piece about 3-4inch in diameter, rather than just swallow it. What a work out for both of us. I will keep an eye on him for times to come but I'm very thankful that I don't have a gulper. Also very thankful for all of the advice I've received and look forward to chatting more. Cheers |
