I know that the folks (who, like you, are caring for CRF kitties) on the Helen's Yahoo Group http://pets.groups.yahoo.com/group/feline-crf-info/ have started to compile an up-to-date list for all available foods - Helen has committed to adding a new page to her site http://www.felinecrf.org/ once the info's in.

This was announced on the group over a month ago, so I'm sure much of the info will have been gathered by now. You might want to join her group and pose a pre-publication question...

I've been following your other thread...'tis not easy!

This link is not that old, and most of the formulas have not undergone any changes: http://binkyspage.tripod.com/CanFoodNew.html

This food hasn't made it to Janet's list yet. It doesn't list phosphorus online, & I don't know if it has it on the can label. If I find out what it is, I will try & post it here.

From http://www.halopets.com/pet-education/pet-health-QA.php

"Question: does Halo make a lower-protein food for senior cats? Vet rec'd I take oldest off Spot's Stew due to kidney issues.

Answer: Halo does not specifically make a low protein or prescription food appropriate for more advanced stages of feline kidney disease. Our canned lamb formula is significantly lower in protein (24% DM) that our other varieties and is comparable to a low protein diet commonly prescribed for feline kidney problems (Hills K/D, 28.8% DM protein). Ask your veterinarian if this might be an acceptable option for your cat. ~Dr. Donna Spector"
