Missing You Jasper

This was so unexpected. With Duke being diagnosed with diabetes and tumor on his liver I thought we would lose him first. Jasper was having problems walking so we took him to the vet. We were told that he blew out his right hip and that it would require surgery. The vet said he would set us up with an appointment with a vet in Toronto to do the surgery but that it would be best to do a thorough exam to make sure there wasn't any other problems but he found cancer. After a long discussion with the vet we decided to euthanize rather than let him go through that pain. I wish we could have done more.

I'm so sorry for your loss, Cathy1! It seems even harder when it's unexpected and there's no time to prepare yourself. Jasper was very lucky to have had you looking out for him. Even though it hurts, you know you did right by him.

Jasper
