Dog hit by car on Navan Road :(

A couple of days ago, a small dog was hit by a car on Navan Road. The dog looked like a Jack Russell Terrier, was mostly white with light beige/brown markings. We have the name of the person who hit it, and he feels bad. If this sounds like your dog, please email me. Sorry.

but at least she didn't suffer

It is so hard to avoid hitting something that comes "flying" onto the road, especially at tire-level.

Happened ot me once, with a wild rabbit (or a hare, not sure which) in the dark. I didn't have a chance of not hitting it, it came out of no where.

It was no-one's pet, but I felt awful, poor little rabbit it did have a family in the bushes somewhere

Just shows the importance og not letting the dogs run outside alone! It's also the reason Misti is a cat-on-leash as will Spoutnik be when he's large enough for a harness to fit him.

Poor little dog, and poor family having lost their pet just before Christmas, and poor driver who accidentally killed the little dog
