Lost Kitten

Hi, I am new to this group and looking for any help as to how to find, lure my kitten back home. We think she got out when my husband left for work on Monday night. We have put up flyers, checked back yards, sheds etc..we have put out wet food, dry food, sardines.....so far nothing....

Our kitten is just 6 months old, and she was starting to go into heat, so obviously why she wanted out.....but we are desperate for any suggestions!

We have filled out a report with our Humane society as well as posted it on our Facebook pages!

We live in the north end of St. Catharines, On.
Any help at all would be appreciated..

Thanks

Do you have a blanket she might have laid on or an item of your clothing? I would place it outside your door and if you have the litter box you may try putting that out too! sounds crazy but others have found it brings them back. The are usually not too far from home hiding somewhere and maybe a litted scared. Check outside porches , decks and shed areas.
Maybe put a little dish of food out t lure her back.

You can also go out really early in the morning with some treats in a bag and a flashlight for sure and shake the bag around your house. You may find your kitty would be more likely to come out when its quiet.

Good Luck and let us know how you make out....it is so hard!
