How to deal with marking

Hi! It's me again...
Ragnar is turning into a big boy and he has began to Mark with pee but now he does it inside the house It's a recent development.
For about 10 days I had him in the house strictly on leash and no incidents. As soon as I decided today to allow him 10 mins off leash BAM! He decides to run to the living room and lift the leg.
His neutering is scheduled for the Feb.8th and that could help however I have read that this might not put an end to it especially now he has started to do it. (before the neutering).
He has improved a lot though but every step there's a challenge.
Any advice on how to stop ✋ this?

Back to basics and start again....back on the leash and no free time to go pee. If you see him lift his leg correct him with an aghhh and immediately outside to do his business, if he continues to pee when you take him outside then praise him like crazy..and reward him with a treat.

I dunno Winston but you always cheer me up to keep going. Back to the basics it is.
Funny story. I've been using the growl every now and then and last night he wouldn't come to me right? So spontaneously my feline spirit came out and I super hissed at him showing my teeth and it worked wonderfully
Cats around here always put him in his place. He seems to respect them even when he has a crazy desire to play with them

Oh, the images running through my mind!! And then the thought: I wonder if that would work with the Pack!

It might. You see cats are bosses everywhere go. There is no battle for dominance with them because they inherently own and command everything. They have no owner, they have loving staff.
If you have a healthy dog (in his head, that hasn't developed a serious aversion towards cat) chances are the cat will always remind the dog who the boss is
Latis one of the cats here slapped poor Ragnar so hard he fell on his butt (no scratch injures though)
Hiss! Hiss!
Told you I'm a momma cat

Koteburo we have all been there that have dogs...

My little rambuncious Sophie went to the vet the last time and was trying to counter surf and I was trying to correct her and it wasnt working, she can be a handful let me tell you and she is really strong. So the vet looks as me and says does she do that at home. I said no because I am on top of her all the time so she cant.

He says to me okay. So Sophie trys again to counter surf for cookies and as soon as she lifted her two front legs he screamed so loud to her HEY and she stopped. He did it again when she tried it and then by the 3rd attempt before she even lifted her legs she looked at him and forgot all about trying.

He said to me being physical with a girl like mine will never help, you have to snap her brain out of the thought...

I was really embarrased and he scared me half to death with the HEY because I didnt expect it and neither did Sophie....

Just so you know your not the only one nd it will pay off sooo much in the long run if your consistant and loving but the boss all in one..

Make him earn everything and show him huge praises when he does good.

How are you doing otherwise.....your stilli Mexico right...

Ragner is getting fixed soon so hopefully that gives you a little break as well.

Still in Mexico yeah. Can't leave until Ragnar has his neutering and the rabies shot (only one pending) Plus the training sessions with the trainer are not over.
I move my Keys when he goes in "loco Mode". A can with pebbles or coins works too. To get them out of the thought.
What a handful they are. I'm sure I'll continúe to post my going bonkers episodes with Ragnar.
I hope that removing the jingle bells helps too
