"The Chev got stuck"

And the Ford would get stuck, we'll get the Chev unstuck when the tractor shows up... ( No Dodges allowed in my song )

Here is my attempt to put a hay bale in for the horses today ( Had to push the bale from here... not fun)

Its not that bad looking from this side

This is why my truck is sleeping next to the horses tonight. My man wont even go part way down with his truck so we'll just wait for the tractor tomorrow if the ground isn't solid enough tomorrow morning

There's no bedrock where I'm stuck right now. If there is it is far down.
Tomorrow we will just find a bunch of long chains or tow straps and hope for the best.

The only thing worse would have been not being able to push that hay the final few feet. Good luck unbogging it.

I would have just put up some step in fence and rope and let them eat out of the box of the truck... They're chewed the truck on several occasions now, especially when it had road salt on it this winter. My nice paint job got destroyed pretty quick as it didn't stand up against horse teeth
Atleast it was a cheap truck haha

That's sure grounds for mud boggin'!

She's stuck pretty good in there. You could always put a liner in the back of the truck, move the fence over a few more feet and it could be the horses watering station!

Good luck tomorrow with pulling her out of the muck erykah1310.

Ah you got it stuck but good Better watch the lower part of the front fender passenger side when you tow it out make sure it's not close enough to cut that tire.

Nah, that thing has been hanging for the past 2 years, I stick it back up from time to time with a zip tie but the wind breaks them. And its not the first time my baby has been jacked up on things or in mud.
If you look at the last picture, leaning next to the garage are my Dick Cepek mudder tires. Not on the truck yet as the lift kit hasn't been put on either. After this, its time to jack my truck and put on those mud tires haha.

ETA: My "Esti" truck is the toy/ work horse truck. We only use it for off roading, dump runs, and hay bales now. I use it from time to time in the winter since my car is just a summer car. We are really hard on that truck but she just wont die like a good GM is supposed to be. Over 410 000 kms on it and its a 2002

Aw, bummer! Tractors can be fun, though.

What a crazy world. You are up to your tray almost in mud, while I am going to have to use a crowbar to dig holes to plant even the smallest plant here. Pity we both can't have the happy medium.

I will gladly send you a bit of our moisture to make your planting easier Goldfields.

However... Update time.
True to the song ( which I will post a link to for those who are unfamiliar with it)
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pDY6bWT5oTM

"The Chev got stuck and the Ford got stuck"( cause boys are stubborn) No Dodge was involved in my version of the song, however

"Motors would roar and tires would spin, we'd sink right down, down to the dif we'd all take turns and do it again"

"We used a lot of our backs and little of our brains we jacked up the jacks and snugged up the chains, we all did our very best to refrain... from shovelin"

Here's the Ford now stuck

yay for the old Farmall

And for good measure, my princess car just watched

Will Agriculture Canada be looking for you, too?

Glad you got them both out!!!

I was having a great time about it all... my man was pretty worked up about it though.
"All this for horses" is all he kept saying as he would just floor the truck swearing like mad in both official languages
It doesn't make it any better than I just laugh at him and shrug my shoulders with a smirk.
Now that everything has returned to normal he came to help me dig a few little trenches and was talking to his boy Viggo. So apparently they are no longer " horses"
