Experience with Colloidal Silver?
Hi,
We're taking our Jarydd in for a tooth extraction later this week. About three years ago he had an extraction and we gave Jarydd colloidal silver for some days before the surgery and some days after due to its antibiotic qualities. But I can't recall how much. Does anyone have any experience using this? If so, how much do they administer to their cat? The Hans |

Colloidal silver is an excellent anti-bacterial. Here is a link that has some feline dental care recipes, maybe they'll give you a clue about dosage: http://www.holisticat.com/dental.html

Silver is indeed anti bacterial. They put silver nitrate into newborn baby eyes right after birth. Or they used to anyway. Not sure if it's still being done because it's an irritant.
Papa Smurf there made his own colloidal silver using electricity and took it every day for many many years. That's why he turned blue. Careful dosing and not constantly taking it shouldn't cause the blue problem.
