Exclamation Found Cat in Stouffville

Male Orange and white cat found 2pm on Saturday afternoon on Warden Lane in Stouffville - terrified, shivering and in shock. He's in good weight, neutered but not declawed. Very friendly, didn't mind the other cat or our Bernese Mountain Dog. He is currently safe and warm with food and water. If this is your cat please contact me.

I hope you find the owner,or they find you, someone must be missing him,or someone might just have dumped him,you never know.
Good luck

Thank You both. He was found on the road, lying in a ball shivering. If I didn't pick him up, he would have been run over. I'm trying very hard to believe in human faith and that he's lost! But since he was found just outside on the road where I keep my horses, I'm thinking he was dumped. So many people think it's okay to just drop off animals at a farm

None the less, if no one claims him he will have a happy indoor home for life

You are a rare and wonderful human being! God Bless you for all that you are doing. What a very very lucky kitty.

You know the old saying "you sometimes do not get what you want..but what you need". In this instance, it just may go both ways.

Thank you for taking this boy in. I would think in the condition you found him he was dumped. I have a girl who was found in similar circumstances a few years back. But, it is also possible he escaped from a loving home and was terrified because he was lost and unsure.
I'm glad you have decided if no one wants him he has a home. I am also ecstatic that at the very least the previous owners were responsible enough to have him fixed and to leave his claws. Declawing is such a barbaric mutilation. That says a little something for them.
Good luck.

You are an angel for taking him in....thank you.

Could you perhaps check to see if he is micro chipped? The area he was found doesnt sound like he just wandered, especially the way you found him, but someone cared to have him neutered....if he is now unwanted, at least you wont be worried about keeping someones's kitty.

Good luck.
