Unhappy Lost Cat in Markham Ont ~ Brimley & Highglen area

Bailey is a small cat. She looks bigger than she is because of her long hair. She is calico coloured on her back and tail. The front is white. She is very shy and nervous of strangers. Last seen Oct 6 in the Brimley & Highglen area of Markham. She is missed so much. Please contact if any one has some info.

Thanks

Have you contacted all the shelters and vets in your area?

This may be helpful, too: Tips to help find your lost cat

I hope you're reunited soon!

I just bought a new printer to make flyers (My printer quit on me this weekend). I'll hit all the vets tomorrow as they are closed now. The local coffee shop and variety store have her photo.

Thanks for the help. Extra worried as she was abandoned before and I rescued her.

If you can put her litterbox and/or a worn but unwashed t shirt or pair of smelly shoes of yours out on the deck this may help lead her home

Go around the neighbourhood at dusk/dawn calling her, rattling a treat container or tap a spoon on her dish or tin of food. Bring a flashlight to pick up the shine off her eyes from under cars/decks/bushes or up trees.

If you can poster the neighbourhood, plus leave one w/ local businesses, grocery stores, vets & all animal shelters in the area that will help garner attention that this girl has a home who wants her back

Had some good advice from one vet, might help someone else looking for their pet. She said to put up flyers at pet food stores. Animal lovers are more likely to help and keep eyes open.

Just got in (almost 2 am) put up more posters. Strange, one behind my house was missing. Gave me hope someone took her & wants to keep her. Maybe grasping at straws, but no one to call at this hour.

That might not be too farfetched, Moeshamrock--lost cats are often found very close to home. I hope you get some leads, soon!

Got a call today. Family near Unionville highschool has been feeding a cat for the last week matching Bailey's description. Really far away from me. Tried calling her, but usually seen at night. Fingers crossed!!

Could she have travelled so far?

Still missing. No luck with posters or internet sites. Hope the newspaper ad brings some good news. Missing her like crazy.
