What Breed am I??

Someone help! The adoption kennel I adopted my puppy from states that she is a Bernese Mountain Dog-Rottweiler mix. I just don't see it. Any suggestions. Sorry for the unclear picture. Her colors are chocolate brown/tan markings, medium length hair. I thought Rottweiler-Lab mix, but all I have seen are black dogs, and generally labs are short haired. Maybe the kennel was right? Please help (see attached picture).

I see the rottie but I also I see a lab face. The Bernese mountain dog seems to have a fatter face. Then again I'm not very good a this guessing game.

what a cutie! her mixed heritage will become more clear as she grows up and matures, puppies are often harder to identify. she might well be a berner x rottie, sometimes the pups don't look much like their parents at all... some rotts carry the red gene or have long coats (see http://www.rottsacrosstexas.com/rarerotts.html for info), so anything is possible. did the shelter ascertain for sure about the parents? or was it just a wild guess? could be some doberman mixed in there for all we know... good luck!

By the way do they know where the puppy came from, or was it an educated guess on their part. Here's a picture of a lab. I do see more lab

I kind of agree with "ROTTIELOVER" and think I see a red Doberman in there. But I can also see the Bernese Mountain Dog. Look at the ears and the fur. The long nose can be due to a Doberman mix. In any case, she's going to be an awfully large pup!

Thanks!

I really appreciate the replies I have been recieving ya'll have been a great help. Will try to get som better pics posted as she continues to grow and hopefully I can get a solution for this. My wife thinks I am obsessed with this mission, but I tell her it is very important to know the breed(s) because once you know you can keep a look out for future problems that the breed is commonly known for. Please keep the replies coming, as it helps me a lot!

The first pic looks very aussie but it looks like there is also a longer thin nose dog in there.

Picture of a Lab-Rottie Cross

Hi! I'm new to the site and found this thread. Cute, cute puppy that you have. For my 2 cents worth, here's a picture of my Lab-RottieX pups at 6 weeks old. They came from 2 litters totaling 20 pups in all-10 for each mother. Mothers were a yellow lab and a black lab-all of the puppies were black with no Rottie markings, despite their Rottie dad. Hope it helps. To clarify, I think someone suggested a Lab-Rottie cross for your baby; I see lab/Dobe more. It's the ears-they are higher set like a Dobe.

They could be right, there could be a bernese in there. I had a bernese cross german shep. he looked like the bernese as a pup but when he got older you could see more of the shepherd. See what you think?

Does that mean he is going to stay a puppy forever?

Prin-I could almost wish that! They are growing almost visibly. We (and the vet) think they will both be over 100 pounds at full growth and they think they are lap dogs.

As for Adam's dog, my husband would like to add a guess of Doberman/shepherd or possibly St. Bernard/Doberman, just to add another possibility to the mix!

Keep 'em coming!

I certainly still appreciate the replies. As of right now, the latest guess has been rottie/aussie mix, and in some ways I tend to agree...I will be posting some new pics soon as she gets older, and hopefully by the time she is full grown there will be more of a destinct identifier.
