Mixed breed puppies

Hello,

We are interested in getting a mixed breed puppy. We are not sure of what mix, maybe something with Labrador Retriever or Pointer.

When looking for a mixed breed, where can you find reputable people selling dogs? Are there breeders of mixes in Ontario? Or should we rely on newspaper ads or the humane society?

We just want to make sure we are going somewhere reputable.
We live in the Hamilton area, but would travel in Ontario for a dog.

Are there breeders of mixes in Ontario?

Anyone who is deliberately breeding mongrels is not someone I would recommend getting a dog from.

Right now there are 105 Labs and Lab mixes on Petfinder in the TO area alone.

Or just use ON as your location.

May I suggest your local animal shelter? There are too many unwanted "mix breeds" out there.. If your in the market for a mix, stop by your shelter an take a pick.
