Toronto Craigslist posting about abandoned kittens
I noticed this posting on Craigslist - Toronto regarding some kittens that were abandoned in a box in a park.
toronto craigslist > pets > Please save abandoned kittens please flag with care : [miscategorized] [prohibited] [spam] [discussion] [best of] email this posting to a friend Please save abandoned kittens -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- While hiking in a town park, we came across a box of eight adorable kittens, probably about 8 weeks old. Having three cats already (and no garage), we can't take them in .. so right now they are still living in a box in the park... Apparently no cat rescues will take them and the SPCA has a long waiting list, and winter is quickly approaching ... We're looking for a good home for the kittens. If you can help these little guys out in anyway, please email us. Thanks! Can't leave kittens in a park like that! They will be coyote or other animal food in no time! Try the vets, my vet often takes in abandoned kittens and adopts them out.

I'd send a msg to that person and let her (him?) that there are many cat shelters in TO, not just the SPCA. Those kittens have to be moved, how could anyone just leave them there????? Arrrrrrrrrrggggggggghhhhhhhh!!!

Wow, I can't believe they would just leave them in the box. I hope someone else came along and picked them up. Hopefully the poster gets alot of emails and will go back themselves to pick these little ones up.

Unfortunately Craigslist gets many trolls who like to stir the pot as well as spammers trawling for email addy's from compassionate, outraged readers who naturally reply with either offers of assistance or to give them a piece of their mind. Not that it couldn't happen, but I find it hard to accept that someone with 3 cats is cruel enough to leave kittens in a box in the middle of nowhere.
