any1 willing? NY city to Montreal?

I`m in the process of trying to rescue a Chi in New York city, and was wondering if anyone could help me transport him back if *fingers crossed* I can get him. I`m in Montreal. I will take the bus down to meet him, I guess. I`m not really sure how it works...but I don`t have a car. Maybe I can rent one, but I can only go for my license in November.

Just a thought - I would think the bus lines would let you take a Chi on board if he's in a small crate? Might be less expensive than renting a car?

Just looked at Lucky and he is a CUTIE!

Yes, pretty hard to rent a car without a driver's license. Has this rescue already agreed to adopt this dog to you?

I'm in Montreal so not much help with transporting

Well, just to update...I had called them on friday about Lucky, and 4 hours later, they took his pic down. Guess that was their way of saying, he`s gone! Oh well. They never returned my call either, but I`m still looking. Lucky, I know!! Wasn`t he the greatest? Thanks for the tip, writingforfun! I had called Grey Hound here, and they said, ya they would take him with a crate. So, it`s true, it would be muchmuch cheaper!

I`m going to keep looking in NY and other states around here, now that I know that I can go by bus. Thanks for the idea!!!

Hi Roro

I saw this ad and thought of you. I think she is still available. She is one of the many "a donner" here in Montreal.

Good Luck

RoRo

My fingers are crossed. Call though. There is a number
otherwise you'll have to open an account to send an email.

Téléphone : ****** (it's in the ad too)

Aw Bugsy! That's so sad! I hope wherever she ends up, she's with people who will love her to bits and will work through her issues.

Good luck, roro!

My sentiments exactly, but I didn't want to write that here at the risk of sounding too - shall we say - accusatory?
