vet question

Hi. My cat bit a vet. They called the health dept. now they are coming to my home. Is this what the vet is supposed to do?

Wow that stink he vet calling the health department ! A cat of mine almost bite a vet but he didn't report my cat . My cat was getting an update on his shoots. I guess you'll have to keep your cat in the house for ten days if it's an outside cat.
