What is wrong with sheba cat food?
I see that it's not nutritionally complete, but it's all meat.
Water, chicken breast, duck breast, tapioca starch, guar gum. To me it looks like a great way to have her eat meat say, twice a week. She gobbles it and that gets her moisture, and since she eats it ALL, no carbs that day! |

Nothing wrong with it for a treat or the very occasional meal (as you're doing, once or twice a week). Obviously because there are no added nutrients, it's not balanced enough for regular feeding. But....it might be a good tool to use in convincing her to eat more of the other canned foods you want to try, such as by top-dressing them with it or mixing it in in ever decreasing proportions. Does she like just plain, lightly cooked chicken breast at all? That would also make a good treat and might be a little cheaper than the Sheba.

Tapioca starch is 91% carbs, so I wouldn't call this one "no carbs"

It's for fiber and to hold the food together, I haven't researched it to the hilt, but from what I understand, it's fine.
I think that fiber count takes away from carb count? |

About 1% of that is non digestible carbs or fiber, I am sure it is fine, but just in case anyone is thinking it isn't carbs. These carbs are not the same as grain carbs, but are still carbs
