Crunchie passed over the bridge...6:54pm

My poor little Crunchie passed away just now and I think I killed her.
I was trying to get her to drink and she fought me and I may have gotten some liquid in her lungs or maybe made her heart stop by forcing her to drink...OMG...she just went limp took a few breaths like she was forcing to breath...I think I killed her too soon... at 6:54 she took her last breath...
I'm so sorry Crunchie...
October 1, 1991- August 22, 2010. 18years old. She never reached her 19th birthday...my little angel. I'm sorry.

Carmen sweetie - it was meant to be. You didn't kill her. Don't beat yourself up over it. Crunchie would thank you if she could. She is now watching you from the bridge with her friends. I am so sorry for your loss.

I dont think you killed her at all, I think it was time for her to go.
We dont have the power of knowing when it is or where or how, but she had you and she was one hell of a lucky kitty.

I am so sorry,

I don't think it would have made any difference, it was her time and she was tired. She was so blessed to have you for a long 19 years.

I also think it was her time to leave cpietra. you did all you could. Not too many cats live to be 19 yr old ! She had a good life with you.

RIP Crunchie

Ohhh I'm so sorry for your loss... please don't think you did it to her! Like everyone else said, it was her time. It seems like she was very loved by you and that's what matters... you gave her a good life. <3

to you mf!

You knew it was time....not quite 19 but an awesome age for a kittie! Goes to show you how awesome of a life she.had to reach that age. ..I wish you and the family peace with this. Crunchie has been released of the pain and can now run free with all the others who went before.

You can now concentrate on Nickie as she needs you now. You know how to reach me. My heart is with you.

Cindy

I'm so sorry for your loss. As the other said, don't beat yourself up. It was her time. You didn't kill her. She lived a long life, and it's apparent her heart just wasn't as strong as it used to be. If you can see one good thing in this, you were able to be with her in the end instead of her being alone when she passed.

I'm so sorry for your loss. 18 is a wonderful long life for a cat. Both of my previous cats also passed away at home with us and were both 18 when they passed. I know how hard it is, but you were a wonderful mom and in no way responsible for her passing. It was her time and she's now at peace.

Aww cpietra, you didn't do anything wrong. It was simply Crunchie's time to go. And as was said, you were with her. What more could she have asked for really. What a wonderful age she reached, that's testament to the loving care you gave her. RIP sweet Crunchie, knowing how well you were loved.

cpietra,I am so very sorry you lost Chrunchie and in such a dramatic way,but she's ok now,she passed knowing she was very much loved, with the person she loved the most.

I know we tend to blame ourselves, thinking I did not do this and that,I should have done that..etc,etc...but you were not to blame, certainly did not kill Chrunchie.
She felt it was her time to go and I know she does not want you to blame yourself, she loved you
sweet Chrunchie
