Rose has been taking a lot of "lessons" from Sweet Pea. One that she has learned is how to ummmmm, not so lady like clean her tummy:

Name: Rose at home.jpg
Views: 135
Size: 50.2 KB

And then after all that hard work:

Name: Rose Sleeping.jpg
Views: 138
Size: 44.1 KB

Sorry for the quality, but she is still jumpy if she gets startled in her sleep, so I had to take the pic from quite a distance.

Jasper and Rose....two of my favorite kitties (And Rose? No worries--'lady-like' is not all that it's cracked up to be )

Have you ever tried hanging pieces of original scent Irish Spring out in your garden, L4H? I have a friend who has little shepherd's hooks scattered here and there amongst the plants, each with it's own little shard of IS soap tied to it. She claims it works... I'm thinking about doing it next year in the well garden--the deer really hit it hard this year!

OMG, all Rose needs is a beer and a remote in that first photo.

OMG I am laughing so hard right now, had to call my son over to take a look. Showed him Rose's "lady like" pic and asked my son who this reminded him of. He laughed too and said Izzy. She does the same exact thing. I always tell her "well that's not very lady like."

My first thought was,Jasper is a funny looking deer
But as the good boy he is he's just guarding the Rose
The pic of Rose is pricelessI bet Puddles was putting her nose up in disgust over Roses undignified behaviour
