Boarding Kennel recommendations - GTA to Niagara

Hello all! My crew & I have relocated to Ontario and I am very sad to leave their fantastic boarding facility behind (sigh....)

I am looking for a Kennel facility that accepts dogs WITHOUT kennel cough vaccine. I do not (and will not!) give my dogs KCV but am having a hard time finding a kennel that only recommends the KCV, not requires it.

My dogs can't live in a home environment, and frankly I don't trust someone to live-in with them, so kennel facilities only please! I have family down in Niagara area and I plan to eventually settle in Toronto, so basically I will travel anywhere in between for good care!!

Thanks for any suggestions!! (and some pictures from our road trip across Canada for entertainment sake!!!)

Entertain me now pls!!

Burbear looking pensive.....one of the few times he was awake!!!

Didn't you know it's all about me?!?!?

Your kids look kind of bully breed.. You are aware there is a ban in Ontario and moving here with them isn't covered eh? I'd be more worried about kennels not accepting them on breed.. the one I worked in last year didn't no ifs ands or buts as a bigger concern than bordatella honestly. Very pretty dogs. I wouldn't be moving into a BSL province with them though.

Yes, this is not the province to try to bring a bully cross into for sure. All it takes is one neighbour to report it and your dogs are in trouble.

I'd say these pups are Shar Pei X, very obvious from the ears.

katie, how far are you willing to travel for a good kennel?

OPs original intro post said sharpei hopefully mixed with staffie. Unless you can proove your dog isn't part pittie, it's a dangerous game to take a dog to Ontario. All you need is one cranky neighbour, or someone who is a pittie hater if you walk your dog in your neighbourhood.

My dogs are sharpei's through and through. Burbear's mother was pure sharpei and I have vet records indicating as such. He wears a tag that states "I am a Sharpei" and have had many people comment they see no bully in him whatsoever, don't worry, it's been covered. He just probably looks square headed in that picture. I am very educated on the BSL in Ontario and was active in the rescue world in BC, working for the SPCA as well as private rescues on top of working for vets & behaviourists

muggsmom - travel is usually not an issue for us, I have a car and take my dogs care very seriously, you can pm me recommendations and I'll see if it'll work for us.

Thanks for your concern everyone.
