Rally for sago & 101 others
OK folks, the time is upon us. I have yet to post info as THIS EVENT IS NOT YET OFFICIAL! We do however, need your help. In under two weeks, we have a meeting with the city to go over the logistics of the rally (speakers/performers, etc.). One thing they are asking for is an estimated amount of attendees (this will help in determining security as well as porta potties and other amenities). By clicking "Attending" you will be helping to further our cause, in that when we get to the meeting, we can tell the city just how many of us are united, and can work WITH the city in preparation! Again, while not official as of yet, the date has been saved for us, and barring any unforeseen problems, it is looking great. Again, I did not want to post this until it was official, but many of you have been asking, "When are we going to have a large, united rally?" and we feel now is the time to answer the question and begin garnering support for the rally. As soon as the permit is official, we will let all attendees know. Keep your fingers crossed all you wonderful souls, and you will all be hearing more in the first days of June. Thank you all for your ongoing support of the OSPCA animals, and sheltered animals across the globe.

R.O.A.R. - Reform Ontario Animal Rights
The above mentioned Rally on July 10th at Queen's Park, Toronto is a go.
There will be live music, speakers and to date 2 or 3 politicians attending.....this Rally has come about due to the despicable decision of the OSPCA to euthanize 350 animals suspected of having Ringworm, a completely treatable skin infection. The OSPCA polices all humane societies in Ontario, but nobody polices them.....this must change. They are also collecting donations of canned food for the dogs at Mile 26 Facebook link to "Events" http://www.facebook.com/group.php?gi...app_2344061033 Last edited by Chris21711; July 8th, 2010 at 11:05 AM. |
