Low cost vet services
In order to encourage more people to take in stray animals, the high cost of vet services should be addressed. As pets age they develop medical problems. Meanwhile the owners age too and find themselves on limited pensions. My 18 year old Sabrina developed a thyroid problem. $700.00 to diagnose the thyroid problem and on mediation for the rest of her life. And I have two 15 year olds (brother/sister) and a 11 year old. Is there any place on this website that can list where reasonable cost vet services are available in the Montreal area? Thanks.

If anyone can list them in one place, my pleasure to help make those threads stand out.

Don't know about Montreal, but for anyone close enough to Tweed, ON, they are the most reasonable I have found! Half price on spaying, 100$ cheaper for vaccinations, makes it worth it for us to drive 40 minutes in winter, 30 in summer!
