You should find out if the kitten been treated for intestinal parasites and if has any fleas . I would take it slowly and bring home something that smell like the kitty so your cat can get use to it smell . I know some cats do not like kittens so you should use your best judgment.

Cats aren't really like dogs in the sense of needing/wanting play dates - I'd be curious how it worked out. I wouldn't be trying it myself though

How old are both kittens? If they are quite young they may enjoy the visit. Pending health checks as mentionned above. At the same time we had a six week old kitten my crackpot neighbours got one too and they used to go away and leave the poor wee mite outside all alone. I brought him into my house several time and the two little boys had great plays after an initial sussing out. Perhaps if their kitten had been a more regular visitor they might have stayed friends but theirs became a nasty dispositionned cat.

Thands from sammy and me as usual. Sammy is 4 years old and the kittens mom says she is 7 months and has all the shots . Nobody thinks this is a bad idea so I will try next week with supervision I will post after they meet. I am excited to see if they can be friends.
Thank you all from Sammy and me.

Woohoo! That's awesome, and actually not too common in the cat-world. Enjoy their play dates.

That's good news and for sure we'd like to see pics as BD suggests!
