Welcome, Jaycee! I hope you get some answers! What's going on with Amber? Was just checking out your album--Amber is a gorgeous girl!

Go to Jaycee's profile page, Barkingdog--there's an album with furbabies and a feathered friend in it!

Thanks, tamed the robin (British) a couple of winters ago, he seems to disappear around July but returns later and always when he has a family to feed. He treats Amber with contempt once briefly landed on her back!

I had a parakeet like that, Jaycee. No respect at all! Used to catch him trying to pull hair off our setter's tail!

We also raised a blue jay when we were kids--it fell out of a nest that was about 40 feet up in an elm tree. No feathers but a huge appetite! Got us up every 2 hrs for a while to feed him. As he got older and we taught him to fly, he started spending more time with other blue jays in the yard. That fall, he moved on with the other blue jays, but he returned each spring and would bring his offspring to the back porch for snacks.
