Gizmo and his favorite toy

I feel a bit bad that the only times I seem to speak up are when I've got questions/concerns. One would think that it's nothing but issues with us! So, to fix that, I shot a brief video of Gizmo playing with his favorite toy.

It's not the best quality, since it was shot with my cell, but you can still see how much he thoroughly enjoys wrestling with his stuffed kitty. Which is evidence of the quality of advice that I get here, since I would never have thought to get him such a large stuffed toy if y'all hadn't suggested it.

What a cutie pie! He looks like my Dart. I love that video. He sure loves his toy. Wonder what he would do with one that's the same size as him or bigger? Isn't it great the way he plays with it?

well, when he got it, it was actually a bit bigger than him. now he's big enough to walk with it in his mouth and boy, does he ever seem smug about that! I am keep my eye out for a suitable replacement, though. The whiskers are already off of it, and I've found a couple little pieces of the 'fur' on the floor. Soon as it's got trailing threads, out it goes, or I'm afraid he'll swallow either the stuffing or scraps of cloth.

Jassy,that is just adorable,my cats never played with large stuffies...Gizmo has grown so much and he does look like little Dart.

Awww, don't throw it out on him. He will miss it. Just snip off the threads and let him have it. A thread and needle does great for sewing up the holes he makes. Kitties get pretty attached to their stuffies sometimes.

he's grown so quickly, too! it's hard for me to believe that when I brought him home just a few short months ago, he wasn't tall enough to drink out of the dog's water bowl. now it's all he'll drink from, and he doesn't have to stretch a bit to do it, either.

I'm not sure he's all that attached to it. or at least, not just it. he found my own personal favorite teddy bear (I saved all the stuffed toys from when I was a kid) and tried to wrestle it. if it's big enough and furry, he seems to want to wrestle it into submission! fortunately, he's easy to redirect.
