My indoor cat has hard protruding growths on pads and toes

He is a 4 year old indoor cat, never goes outside. These growths don't seem to cause him pain when walking but he does snap at you when you touch his feet. The couple he has on his toes aren't visible in these photos but they are on the tips under his claws and protrude out almost like a smaller claw on his toes. They are very rough in texture and almost feel and look like tree bark.

They almost look like scabbed over burns. Have you had his feet looked at by a vet?

He was born with them but it wasn't this bad, and not yet I figured I'd see if anyone on here would know what it was and if its serious or not rather than spending money on a vet visit and it being nothing to worry about

Has skin culture text been done on his paws to see if a bacteria is growing on his paws?

Ouch it looks painful! you could google Encephalitis Granuloma. This is a very common disease in cats and with varying symptoms. Easily treated with medication and not expensive medication either. its an auto immune type disease.

I would say its worth a vet visit.

If he or she has had it since birth how old is the cat...

Good Luck and let us know how you make out!
