Question A spaying side effect?

So, here's the deal:
We spayed my cat Willow, I don't remember how long ago, but it was probably almost a year ago. Ever since, she's been leaving these little seed looking things where ever she lays or sits. They are tiny, and light beige in color, and I think they've been coming from her rear.
She never used to have this until we got her spayed, and I haven't been too worried since they don't seem to be affecting her at all. I'm curious as to what they are though. I haven't call the vet to ask yet, and I could find anything online.
Does anybody know what these are, or know how to fix it? Thanks.

Welcome to the board, Mumble785!

Do they look like rice grains? If so, she may have tape worm. Those seedy things would be the egg segments. If you can get one of them to the vet for analysis they can tell you for sure and get you some meds to clear them up.

Absolutley a tape worm. Please dont buy any over the counter meds as they will not kill the worm. My 2 cats had them as kittens. They were each given a needle (I think it was more expensive but easier than pilling them) and it kills the worm.

They will have a feroucious appetite too in order to feed it....they come out looking like sesame seeds! I called it crumb bumb until I knew what it was! yucky!!! Definately a vet visit is in order but at least it will be an easy visit!

Thank you so much! That's exactly what she has. I talked to mom and we're gonna get her a shot to get rid of it if we can. I didn't think it was a very big deal because she looks perfectly healthy, but that might explain why she eats whenever somebody goes by her food dish. o.O Thanks again!

Actually they have a pill called Drontal now for tape worm. It also will kill other worms.
