Dracko and the "Walnuts"

I had a container of Breyer's Maple Walnut Ice Cream I was throwing out the other day. It had some ice cream still along the sides but was sort of freezer burnt. The container was set in the garbage that was being taken out and Dracko grabbed it and took it to his bed to lick out. I go and pick it up a bit later and couldn't believe what I found in it!

I guess he didn't like the walnuts!

How much work was that to lick up the ice cream that was stuck to the sides and the bottom and NOT eat the nuts???

HAHA That's hilarious! And a very clean container to boot. Ah well toss out the nuts, maybe an outside furry critter will like them.

What a smart puppy dog. I wonder how long it took for him to lick all of the walnuts clean and leave them in there? So smart. And I miss walnuts

EVERY square inch of 'em. You could tell they were all saliva coated.

That's funny. Maybe they get stuck in his teeth and he doesn't want to have to be picking at them.

Only one of our dogs likes walnuts--the rest sniff them and leave them--but I think they'd all be willing to put up with the nuts to get ice cream! Dracko must have very delicate sensibilities. And a very talented tongue!

Good boy, Dracko!

Smart dog. Walnuts and macadamia nuts are both toxic to dogs.
