Clicker training cats
I am working on clicker training my cat to help with some aggressive behaviour he has at times towards my toddler.
Does anyone have experience with clicker training? I am trying to find the best method. If he starts walking towards her to swat at her, would I redirect with a command and then reward with click and treat? Or should I be using the clicker to reinforce positive interactions he has with my daughter? Any insight is so greatly appreciated!! |

I've never used clickers with our cats, but I've used them pretty extensively with the dogs.
You might want to try a combination of both. Click and reward for the successful redirection (whether redirected by command or by a toy toss), but also for a positive one-on-one interaction he has with your daughter.
